Halloween Village
Any
Halloween village is not complete without Halloween village
people to make up the town. And, of course you know what
Halloween village people sing? "Y-M-C-A," they
sing in combination with "Werewolves of London".
Many
assume that the Halloween village is a commercial product
the pops up once a year around the Witching season, which
it is, but it is also so much more. Besides a small scale
town filled with accessories and action figures, a Halloween
village can be a small town you create yourself.
Now,
like the commercial Halloween village, this homemade variety
can be small in scale or much larger. Suppose you wish
to go all out this year and create a life-size Halloween
village, just how would you do it?
With
some carpentry skills (and with the help of the ghost
of Karen Carpenter) you may be able to create a real life
Halloween village on the front lawn. Or perhaps there
is a vacant lot in the neighborhood just crying out for
a Halloween village for a limited engagement. Why not
just do it?
Enlist
the neighbors to play monsters in the Halloween village.
Create Halloween props
and Halloween decorations.
Remember, you'll only get out of your little village what
you put into it. This village only happens once a year,
so make sure to put maximum effort into it!
For
the Halloween village to be totally realistic, you may
wish to introduce alcohol and assault and battery into
the sleepy little ghost town. Nothing livens up a town
like a few blood curdling screams that happen to be real.
Relax,
have fun and let everyone know the location of the Halloween
village and it just may become an annual neighborhood
event.
